Win And You're In... that was the theme on Sunday - but many teams came up short and that made even another Win and In game at 4:00 that saw the Cowboys lose a meaningful December game yet again! Did I only say lose??? Let me rephrase that Embarrassing clusterfluff is a better description. Anyway, the Boys are out and the Birds are in so that made a few of you happy - except maybe those that were counting on a possible Reid firing after missing the playoffs. But it's the holidays and many of you are in a happy place right now. Speaking of happy places - We have some Week 17 and end of season news that is sure to make a few of you happy. As for Week 17 - we had two people put up impressive 14-2 records!!! Terri Schwomeyer and Kelsey Korner - but Kelsey had a closer tiebreaker to the 73 points that were actually scored and takes his first weekly prize. Congrats!!!

As for the year end prizes - it got pretty close and we finally don't have any ties in the top 3 spots! But, the late season leader - Steve Salkin managed to hold off both Deke and Anthony to hold onto the top spot. I'll have to double check and/or maybe Steve can confirm. But I don't think he's ever finished anywhere near the top before and since he didn't even win a weekly win this year - this is quite impressive. Congrats to Steve and to the 22 people that managed to finish over .500. You are either smart, lucky or just due! I will try to get the full standings updated some time on Monday - but for now - below are the notables for week 17 and for the year end prizes. Thanks again to everyone for playing and especially for putting up with the glitches we had this year. I think and hope that is in the past - but it made it easier to deal with people that were understanding. I hope you all have a great New Year and would love to see you back for the 2009 version of the pool!!!
